LIFE FORCE
serves patients who have suffered any kind of severe trauma
or burn, as well as severe medical illnesses.
Each aircraft has
equipment and the trained
staff to care for people in all
stages of life, from infants to geriatrics.
LIFE FORCE 1 & 2 can carry two
critical patients
and crew without any aircraft reconfiguration
and LIFE FORCE 3 can carry one patient and crew. LIFE FORCE may also be
utilized in some situations, in search and rescue missions.
The Aircraft
Bell 412
The
Bell 412 twin-engine helicopter is an
extremely safe and dependable flying intensive care unit
with a full range of state-of-the-art life support equipment.
The aircraft, a single-pilot, IFR certified helicopter, is capable
of launching in minimal time with a speed of up
to 150 miles per hour and flying 300 miles without
refueling. Special equipment and
pilot training allows LIFE FORCE the capability of flying in less
than desirable weather conditions.

The Crew
The
LIFE FORCE crew consists of a Pilot, Flight Nurse and
Flight Paramedic. The LIFE FORCE support team consists of
Communication Specialists, A&P Technicians (aviation maintenance),
office, education and leadership team.
